- Trained professional musician with a Master’s degree, more than 10 years of extensive teaching experience, as well as over 25 years of playing, performing, and music business experience in the fields of pop & rock, classical, jazz, and world music

- The motivation and joy of playing of my students is always my top priority in my teaching—music should do you good!

- Openness to many different musical genres, tailored to the wishes and preferences of my students

- The option to learn free musical improvisation and/or composing your own pieces and use it in lessons

- Not only a focus on the technique and motor skills of instrumental playing, but always also on musical context, (theory) understanding, feel, and personal expression in music

- “Learning how to learn”, i.e., concrete tips on how to practice and learn new things as effectively and motivatingly as possible

- Individually adapting my lessons to the individual strengths, weaknesses, needs, and wishes of my students

- If desired, working toward specific projects and goals “outside of the lessons”, e.g., participating in bands or orchestras, performances, writing your own music, etc.

- Particular specialization in working with adults and young people aged 16 and over (beginners or advanced). Even as an adult, you can still learn a new instrument!

Currently still in my living room, but very soon in my new, professionally soundproofed and fully equipped music room - with various instruments, PC, sound system, recording equipment, etc.

Unfortunately, I can no longer offer lessons at my students' homes.

With a contract

€85 per month / 30 minutes per week (~€28.33 per session)
€110 per month / 45 minutes per week (~€36.66 per session)
€135 per month / 60 minutes per week (~€45 per session)

€80 per month / 45 minutes every two weeks (~€47.06 per session)
€95 per month / 60 minutes every two weeks (~€55.88 per session)

The teaching contract regulates payment, cancellation rules, notice period (only 1 month), etc. If you are interested, I can gladly send you a sample copy!
Under these conditions, I teach every week, except on public holidays and during the official school holidays in the state of NRW, Germany.
